| I heard a saying that those that can't do Teach. And those that can Do.. Do and those that love both do both.
I thought of this saying for a while and really just thought of it as it.
I remember when I was taking Salsa lessons I was GREAT during practice. Then I would go afterwards to the Salsa club and have NO IDEA what I was doing.
Its because in Class I needed to know specific steps and repeat them. Then in the club I needed to "make it up" as I went along.
Then came my first 3 months after I left Active Duty Military service. I had a set schedule and certain things that I was used to. Within the military environment I was doing very well. Then BAM! I come out into this real world in which I can do just about whatever I wanted and i was lost...
It wasn't until recently that I realized that every one has structure. Successful people have structure. Professional athletes have structure. But what they all have are goals that make them work toward these things.
God created everyone with a purpose in their lives=D God also gave us structure=D Like going to church on Sundays.
As I continue on with my life thinking all these crazy thoughts I am glad that no matter what shiny object I chase as Long as I am reaching for God all things will work out =D |

| If you think back in your life You think about all the good days of your life.
Then there are those bad days that you just can't get out.
As a Christian I am reading a Old Testament Survey book and they talk about how portions of the bible are set up as Obedience to the Lord and disobedience to the Lord.
So in a way Good times = With the Lord. Bad times = w/o the Lord.

| My friends always say I can get so much more done If I didn't have to sleep.
WHY stop there.
If you didn't have to eat. sleep. breath. you could get so much more done with your life.
If you took away your ability to feel then you wouldn't have emotions bogging you down.
If you could teleport anywhere and everywhere and never had to walk.
Now.
What about a person that is blind. or deaf.
Because they don't have the ability to see it severely hinders their ability to do work on the level that us NON- BLIND people can do. Like IE drive a car and all these other wonderful things that you and I take for granted.
and so
Imagine if you didn't sleep and you didn't have to eat or have to transport anywhere.
Honestly that would save me a lot of time.
Travel out of your day is 1 hour + expense
Food out of your day is like 2 hours + expense
Sleep out of your day is like 7 hours + the time your not working
IMAGINE if you could work 24 hours a day =D HOW MUCH MONEY WOULD YOU MAKE>>>>>
24 hours a day all day every day.
Now if your thinking like I am thinking umm... THAT SUCKS!!!!
What kind of life is that.
I'll tell you what. I believe in a God that created the heavens and the earth.
I also believe that he gave us these things like a mouth/sleep/and feet to use in his glory.
We can eat as a family and share good times and fellowship.
We can sleep to think about what we are doing and give us a good break from day to day.
We can travel/run/exercise/sightsee during our trips.
When Jesus was around 30 he started his ministry. He lived in a way that pleased God. I hope to live in that way as well. =D have a good Friday =P |

| Today I volunteered at a Conservative Christian radiostation. 90.9 here in Texas and the station is called KCBI. They are doing their yearly fundraiser and I sat in today for about 3 hours to help them answer calls. I always wanted to do something like this.
As I got there... I was late ... =( Google maps had showed a hour to get there. So i left with a hour in mind and got hit with some really nasty traffic.
Then when I got there the setup reminded me of Ramstein's Helpdesk. This was the place that I was in Germany for 2 years doing tech support.
After getting my first couple of calls for donations I felt really humbled. It reminded me of
"And he looked, and saw rich men putting their donations into the treasury. And he also saw a certain poor widow donating two mites. And he said Truly, I tell you, that this poor widow has cast in more than all of them: for they have all given but a portion of their great wealth, as an offering to God, while she, in her poverty, has given all that she had."
Being a part of KCBI reminded me of the big picture of God's plan.
As a Radio station that worked off the word of GOD it was SO different than a regular radio station that really has no morals. Such as pre-marital sex, promotion of drinking and partying, and just plain disrespecting yourself. When I got to visit the people that ran some of the shows and see how they lived. They were really Godly people that enjoyed their job.

Anyway the past few days I feel like the days have just been flying by and I am unable to stop the quick sands of time. Days become weeks and weeks become months. Hopefully it slows down =( Which is just a dream because things pick up once you start ...
School.
Job.
Life.
I have been really struggling to do my daily bible readings lately. My mind is all over the place. I have made the decision to start reading a bit earlier and go to sleep earlier. I normally read the bible before I go to bed =D So I need to go to bed at a reasonable time.
